Simakas

Simakas Company specializes in emergency outages and the routine erection, repair and maintenance of utility, industrial and commercial boilers.  As well as, the service of piping and equipment in the power generation, paper and pulp, water treatment, steel-making, manufacturing and chemical industries.  We are proficient in the repair and replacement of all components the boiler proper as well as ancillary equipment such as breaching and ductwork, baghouses, precipitators, ash hoppers, forced and induced draft fans, stack and condensers.  We additionally provide a comprehensive range of services to pressure vessels and tanks, process and pressure piping, and mechanical equipment including fans, pumps, feeders, mixers, mills and conveyors. Simakas prides itself in our rapid response to emergency outages. Our 13,000 square foot warehouse supports our field operations and houses our fabrication shop. 

We maintain a National Board “R” and "NB" stamps and ASME “S” and “U” stamps.  All welding and fabrication is performed in strict accordance with the applicable codes with the unequivocal attention to quality.  We routinely perform work under ASME Section I, VIII, IX as well as Codes B31.1 and B31.3.

We are signatory to these labor union contracts: boilermakers, electricians, iron workers, millwrights, operating engineers, steamfitters and the National Maintenance Agreements.
